(R) assuredcommunicationsTM RF-9072-AT001 LOW-BAND VHF DISCONE ANTENNA The Harris RF-9072 Low-band VHF Discone is intended for stationary use to provide vertical polarization with omnidirectional coverage. The antenna is composed of a supporting hub with internal matching circuit, six disc elements, six cone elements, and one vertical element. The vertical element enhances performance and separates this discone from most discones by providing an efficient radiation performance over the 30 to 110 MHz bandwidth with VSWR less than 3.0:1. This novel design has evolved through computer modeling and testing for optimal performance. The RF-9072 antenna is designed to provide low-angle omnidirectional radiation coverage for line-of-sight communications. The flexibility of the antenna mounting clamp allows freedom to fit most masts.
